Basketball Wives the movie...

Just like the rest of the world, well, the reality tv watching world, I have been disgusted by Basketball Wives lately.  Not that it has been the most upstanding show on television, but lately the envelope has been pushed over the edge...namely by Tami & Evelyn.  I cannot, for the life of me, understand how grown mothers could act like that off camera, let alone on camera for the world to see.  I mean, I have been embarrased for them!  I found myself going on my own rant on Tami on twitter last week...turning into what I was criticizing, but it frustrated me to my core to watch her consistently come at Keshia like that on the show...THE NERVE!  My blood was boiling!!

Anywho, so the blogosphere has been abuzz about there being a Basketball Wives movie in the works...and..hmmm, I'm just not sure how I feel about that.  My opinion, it just may be too little, TOO LATE!  Supposedly the movie will show what it is REALLY like to be on the arm of a professional basketball player showing; the traveling, drama surrounding their other women/groupies, trades, semi-single parenting,etc...!  Blah, blah, blah...that was the same description that originally got us to buy into the VH1 show but we got basketball ex-girlfriends, estranged wives, groupies, thrown drinks, girl fights and anything but what was promised.  I'M NOT BUYING INTO THIS MOVIE TALK!  Shaunie O couldn't deliver in all of 4 seasons of the show with real women that were involved with real life basketball players.  With that said, I'm not looking for her to deliver the goods in a fictional movie at this point.  It seems like a desperate move to redeem herself and blame VH1 producers for the negative turn of the show.

However, I have to ask...will you support a Basketball Wives movie??

Newest Obsession...SCANDAL

So I'm super late, but my newest obsession on television has to be 'Scandal'!  That show is too good and Keri Washington was born to play Olivia Pope!

Firstly, as a reality show junkie, I'm just happy to find a scripted show that I not only like but love! Not to mention it takes place in my hometown...most powerful city, DC!!!

When you think about the real life scandals of John Edwards, Bill Clinton, John Kennedy...and go wayyy back to Thomas Jefferson you do wonder about Washington's political underworld!

Needless to say the finale was last week and I cannot wait for the second season!!
