Classic...Blueprint turned 10 this week!!!!! Throwback to celebrate...

H to the Izzz O...JAY is definitely my favorite rapper!!! Shoutout to the first of the classic BLUEPRINT trilogy turning 10 this week on 9/20!!! Song Cry was definitely one of my favorites from the LP...Mary SANG didn't she?!?!

It's no secret that December or the saggitarius sign is the sign of greatness!!!!! The first week of December is loaded with awesome star-studded birthdays other then my own. We all know that Jay-Z (my other favorite saggitarius) turned the BIG 40 this past Friday. Shaun Carter did it up Hov style in the Dominican Republic as a courtesy of Mrs. Beyonce Carter in a twenties themed affair. That gives me an idea for next year, I love the "Roaring Twenties" the era was so glam which totally explains the reason for Bey selecting that theme...I mean it's Shaun and Beyonce Carter! What else would they do? Anywho, they're my favorite couple so here's a "Happy Belated Birthday to Mr. Carter!!"

Til Death Do Us Part? or NO??

OMG!!! Divorce is running amuch, as usual, in "the industry", with rumors that I am SURE ARE FALSE circulating that my favorite couple JayZ and Beyonce are cheating on each other, I took to my favorite sources to learn more about "the industry's" couple woes. SO, it's no surprise to many that Antonia "Toya" Carter and her boo James from the show Tiny and Toya, are no longer together. Toya is busy being the model ex-wife/baby momma toward her daughter with Wayne and the rest of his gang of babymovas (Ohio chik, Nivea, Lauren London).

Also, back in the news for marital problems/divorce is Shaq and wife Shaunie O'neal. Shaq just got served yall with THE PAPERS. Reportedly, Shaq has been gettin it in with Shaunie's BFF, and she's had enough. Shaunie has moved from Florida back to L.A. She has even transferred the kids to school in L.A. This might be it for those two, mean this is their second bout with THE PAPERS!!!

Anywho, it's final!!!! We can likely expect another killer confessions type album from Mr. Usher Raymond. Usher's divorce from the supposedly crazy Tameka Raymond IS FINAL!!!! This isn't a surprise to anyone though because Usher's song about his marital woes/pending divorce "THE PAPERS" been blowing up airwaves. I really like that song. I've never been married but certainly feel his exhaustion.

MEANWHILE....I'M PRAYING IT'S ALL GOOD WITH JAYONCE!!!! I LOVE THEM** They have to beat the stereotype**

Diddy vs. Hov

I've had this conversation with a number of different people as the subjects but I want to know what the blog world thinks....Who's the biggest boss, bigger/better personality??? Diddy or Hov? Who's really runnin' NY???
Hip Hop has two major players right now; Diddy & Hov however as a matter of respect, we must recognize the fact that these two men are at different places in the game right now BUT there isn't anyone that could rival their success & influence as it relates to the hip hop generation. These two men, Diddy & Hov BOTH have the cars, money, women, name, status, hail from NY and sit at the top of the hip hop world, as co kings but are they really co-kings.

As for myself, I am a Jay fan and believe that NOONE can see Jay lyrically, stylistically, in realness. However, my others i've spoken with would refer back to Diddy's Bad Boy days as Puff Daddy when BIG, Mase, Total, Mary J, Jodeci were runnin and topping the charts BUT that was then and THIS IS NOW!!!

Jay without a doubt has forced Hip Hop to grow up by abandoning the baggy street clothes going for a more clean, polished look (enters the "button up"), has managed to consistently top the charts without demeaning women and bragging of possessions. Shaun Carter also walks with a swagger as real YET as commanding of a corporate giant, as he, himself, is a corporation. HE HAS THE HOTTEST CHIK IN THE GAME. Hov has lead a movement with the Roc (we all have held up the roc), we all wore something rocawear, bought a JayZ album, probably couldn't buy Christol but refused to drink it if we could, and know that at any moment JayZ can single handedly END any trend & in my opinion even end a trend started by Diddy, LOL ask TPAIN, and has turned the normal sports club/lounge into an upscale party experience!!!

Diddy's had his share of women ventures, and success as well and lets all face it Diddy and J-Lo set the BLUEPRINT for what was to come with JayZ and Beyonce being the original.

So, in your opinion, who's the King of Hip Hop? Who's the King of NY??

So I love my city, I bleed Washington, DC but every now and then I get a yurning to go to the Big Apple....I LOVE NEW YORK!! I have lots of friends in the "runway" state lol thanks to college, the shopping is amazing, and I love how diverse it is...idk when I want to go though, it needs to be soon!!! I want to go one day and do some real tourist-y things like take the Sex In the City Bus tour, visit the statue of liberty....Anybody know of any hott parties comin up in NY or Halloween parties? That might be a good time to go. What are the hottest shoe shopping spots in NY?????

Got a lot of pride right now, cause my steps are ordered and my dreams are coming true...."if i was you i'd hate me too" lmao DONE with the rhyming (my playlist is on point right now) but i'm at work with no other outlet and a smile on my heart. My prayers are always being answered, my dreams are coming true, opportunities are abound and on every corner that I turn to LOL....WHY SHOULD I KEEP THAT TO MYSELF??? I'm never TOO proud, TOO cocky, TOO arrogant...but it is what it is, my future that is, and that's BRIGHT!!!!!
