Now, that is just NASTY!

Obviously I watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta as seen from previous posts, but this past Sunday's episode had me warped up in a big ol' mess of grossness, when at Kandi's birthday party, Phaedra's gift, the stripper RiDICKalous commenced to PLEASURE HIMSELF ORALLY while performing!  Phaedra has mentioned this guy before, last season actually,but seeing that it was the truth surprised the hell out of me.  I was with Mama Kandi...that was some, in her words, "BULLSH*T!!!!  WHO WANTS TO SEE THAT?!?!  Where do they do that at?  HOW DID HE DISCOVER HE COULD DO THAT?!?!  Further, why was Peter so obviously engaged by the stripper's performance!?!?  Yea, I caught that and putting that together with the location, the A, I think Cynthia may wanna investigate that foolishness...Peter seemed just as engaged as Lawrence *sideeye*

I'm Rich BITCH!

LMAO...okay so because of all the loose ends from last season, I was looking forward to the premier of the Real Housewives of Atlanta especially to see what was going on with NeNe...Ms. Drama herself!  Sure enough NeNe is bringing the drama already in episode ONE!!  LMAO at this argument between NeNe and Sheree...NeNe has gotten herself some very new SUPPOSEDLY very long money and felt the need to let Sheree know when confronted by Sheree about a failed business venture screaming at Sheree "I'm rich bitch".  She then went on to say how much her veneers cost, how Celebrity Apprentice put her on financially and that she is RICH and doesn't need to side swipe the likes of Sheree for business.  THIS WAS JUST A MESS!!!  I pause at believing that Celebrity Apprentice has put NeNe on the status of rich, but Donald Trump can now expect an influx of celebrities to be calling him to get on Celebrity Apprentice because it seems like every episode NeNe is going to be talking about her new found RICHNESS from Celebrity Apprentice.  Safe to say she is feeling herself!  Loved the argument!  So juvenile, messy, yet ENTERTAINING!

UGH...Bravo punk'd us!!!!

OMG! The long awaited Real Housewives of DC premiered last night and the debut was *sigh* waaay less than spectacular!!!! Disappointing to say the least!

I'm a fan...die hard...of the Real Housewives series; Orange County, New York, New Jersey, and Atlanta and thought I would be when/if the series landed in my own backyard but i'm not enthused...anymore anyway. The show was BORINGGGG!!!!!!!!!! I literally spent the entire hour trying not to go to sleep in fear that i would miss the excitement/worthiness when it finally occured. Yea, it's safe to say Bravo dropped the ball on this one!

We all knew the cast was predominately white EVEN THOUGH the DMV is a mixing bowl of cultures and ethnicities...they repped us (one black woman) for fear we'd probably boycot the rest of the shows....which we would've. But forreal Bravo??? Even in a city as conservative as Washington, DC, I know there were more interesting ladies than this bunch to choose from??? and the lady from the UK...what's up with that? Can we have all citizens on the show please???? UGH..this was a bust and I hate that my city, my region looks as if it'll be the most boring of season...when in fact, everyone knows there is soo much going on here in Washington, DC...

I'm disappointed!!! HORRIBLE representation of Washington, DC but given how conservative DC is, maybe, MAYBE these women were the creme of the crop of who ACTUALLY went out for the show. Many people here have political, powerful, and influential aspirations and may have not went out for it for those reason BUT come on!!! Between all the judges, athletes, professors, regular people, politicians, professional people we have here this is what Bravo ended up with....??????????????

Chocolate City is the city of power, politics, money, scandal, back biting a more diverse group of women would've made this more interesting!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: NEW HOUSEWIFE....

So, last week, I posted an entry about the ladies of the Real Housewives of Atlanta getting a new addition, Phaedra Parks. If you remember, Phaedra is a CoProducer of BET's Tiny & Toya (season 2 starts in April) and she's an entertainment law powerhouse in Atlanta. At the end of my post I asked if Phaedra is even married. I asked because Bravo has a habit of just putting anybody on those shows sometimes regardless of the title. Anywho, Yes, Phaedra is married. In fact, her beau/husband is an ex con who has done his share of time in prison.

Phaedra's husband name is Apollo Nido and he is currently on parole for one of his past charges, and his spent much of the last decade in behind bars. Who do we think is gonna be the lady replaced by Phaedra? I think it's going to be Kim, she's not married and seems to find herself only with the husbands of OTHER women. Anywho, it's obvious that Bravo seeks and will do nothing short of bringing the drama with the Atlanta ladies....needless to say, I'll be tuned in.....

New Housewife...

My guiltiest tv pleasure is the Real Housewives, ALL THE SEASONS; Orange County, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey and I can't wait to see the rumored Beverly Hills and D.C!!!

Anyway, supposedly the ladies in Atlanta will be getting a new addition to the cast. She is an Entertainment lawyer and her name is Phaedra Parks. I remember her from Tiny & Toya, she was featured on the show and co-produces the show. For months the buzz has been that a new Housewife for the Atlanta series was in the works but we heard names from Tameka Raymond (womp, womp) to Monica and a few others.

Question is: Is Phaedra a WIFE?????

UPDATE: Real Housewives of DC!!!!

Okay, so not many of you know about my earlier post about Bravo's Real Housewives series coming to DC. I have an update on the DC part of the popular series. The Real Housewives of DC was set to start filming Friday September 18, 2009 BUT there aren't any women of "color" included in the cast!!!!!!!! WHAT?!? You mean to tell me that with the two most powerful women in this city being African American women there were NO African American, Latina, Native American, Asian women to add to the lineup??? I am sooo disappointed in this I mean dang...did anyone place a call to Michelle Obama, or Mrs. Fenty (wife of DC mayor Adrian Fenty)????? Now, of course with DC being so small the casting of the series was open to women in the surrounding areas of Maryland and Virginia. STILL not ONE woman of color!!! NOT ONE African American woman....ugh!!!

So far at least 3 women have been outted to be Real Housewives of DC cast members: Lynda Erkiletian (ownere of The Artist Agency, DC modeling firm), Mary Amons (wife of capitalist Rich Amons) Michaele Salahi (wife of Fauquier County winery owner Tareq Salahi). That is 3 out of the 5....Hopefully they'll place some color/chocolate in there somewhere to represent CHOCOLATE CITY!!! I was excited when I found out my favorite tv series was coming to DC BUT not so much when I heard of the lack of diversity they were watering the city down with!!!!

Real Housewives of D.C...

So, I must admit that one of my guilty pleasures are the Real Housewives series ALL OF THEM; OC, New York, Atlanta, and Jersey...but now I hear that Bravo is bringing Housewives to the capitol!!! I'm all for this! D.C is about all those things that the Housewives from other areas have tried to portray; power, money, image, and prestige!!! I can't wait for this piece of the Housewives puzzle and witness Chocolate City's upper society make a permanent mark in pop culture like only our beloved President Obama has been able to do.....this is Bravo. LOL, I can imagine it now, watching the wives of some of the United States' most powerful individuals show America how those that run this machine call America do it and air their dirty laundry for the world to see.....I CAN'T WAIT!!! I'm anxiously awaiting the 2nd season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta but will am also anxious to see what my beloved hometown Washington, DC has in store for us....wonder will we ever see any D.C Housewives in the White House?? Hmmmm....
