YAY!!! It's Monday morning and work is back in full swing for the week!!! I love being here but being here every morning and observing those around me reignites a daily flame in me to be anything but content! I wanna be successful, the picture of success that is but not just for and through me, but through others as well....make an impact of some sorts. Earlier this year I volunteered as a Big Sister for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and the experience was so fulfilling, enriching and fun!! To make an impact on a young person's life, outside of one's family is necessary and a great contribution to society....I mean, I am supposed to be a good role model for my siblings but others aren't so lucky, thus my decision to contribute.
With the holiday season RIGHT around the corner, this is the perfect time to give back, encourage, love and enrich one's community....and I figure with the new school year, why not tutor young students? So, I will!!! To say the least, I am very excited about this and can't wait for my sessions....Meanwhile, I need some tutoring myself LOL, as the LSAT is coming up. The practice tests, that is. I hope I do well and walk away with a more concise understanding of the test content. Really would like to take the actual exam in February. Time is of the essence and I NEED TO GET MY J.D!!!!
I hope I can be an encouragement to others, that they may decide to contribute positively to their communities...it is certainly time well spent.
